HOT VEGETABLE-BEEF CHILI

1 lb ground beef
1 c onions, chopped
2 10 oz pkgs frozen mixed vegetables
5 potatoes, peeled and diced
1 8 oz can green (french style) beans, drained
3 jalapena peppers, diced
1 8 oz can tomato sauce
1/2 c water
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1/4 tsp chili powder
1 can tomatoes (2 1/2 can) cut up fine & undrained
1/2 tsp sugar


In skillet, cook beef & onion until beef is brown. Drain off excess fat. Transfer meat mixture to crockery cooker. Place frozen vegetables into strainer and rinse with hot water to seperate. Stir in vegetables, potatoes, undrained tomatoes, tomato sauce, water, chili powder, salt, pepper and sugar into beef mixture aplus jalapena peppers.

Cover the cooker and cook on low heat setting for 8 to 10 hours. Makes 4 servings.
