OVERNIGHT BUNS

2 c boiling water
1 tbsp salt
3/4 c sugar
1/2 c oil
1 1/2 pkgs yeast, dry
1/2 c warm water
2 eggs
8 1/2 c flour (approx.)

Boil the water, salt and sugar between 4 and 5 pm. add shortening & cool. Have yeast ready in the warm water. Add about 2 c flour to colled liquid before adding softened yeast.

Add yeast and then more flour. Beat briskly. Add eggs, one at a time then the rest of the flour. Knead down. Let rise again and shpae it into buns and put on greased pans.

Let stand overnight at ordinary room temperature, uncovered. In the morning, bake at 400 for 12-15 min. Makes about 45 buns, depending upon the size.
