ROSY ONIONS

6 medium (1 1/2 pounds) onion
1/2 teaspoon (tsp) salt
1 teaspoon (tsp) paprika
2 tablespoons (tbsp) each of butter, soft honey, & water

Peel onions and cut in half crosswise; place in a baking dish or pan 10 by 8 by 2 inch. In a small bowl, mix together the soft butter, honey, water, slat and paprika; spread over onions; cover tightly with foil, if pan has no cover. Bake in a moderate oven 350 degrees until onions are tender -- 45 to 60 minutes. Serve the rosy sauce in the baking pan with the onions.

Makes six servings.
