SWEET AND SOUR CABBAGE

2 tablespoons (tbsp) bacon drippings
4 cups red cabbage, shredded
2 cup cubed, unpared apple
1/4 cup vinegar
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup water
1 1/4 teapsoon (tsp) salt
1/2 teaspoon (tsp) caraway seed

Add cabbage and apples to the melted drippings in a large pan. Mix other ingredients and add.. Stir, cook 15 to 20 minutes (25 to 30 minutes if you want it more done).
