Caramels

1 cube butter
1 cup light karo syrup
1 cup sugar
1 (15 ounce) condensed milk
1/4 cup flour
1 tsp vanilla

Melt butter; add corn syrup and sugar. Boil 5 minutes over medium heat. Stir constantly. Mix flour with remaining condensed milk, then add. Boil until darkens and forms medium hard ball (240 degrees). Add vanilla and nuts.
