Country Vanilla Ice Cream

4 eggs
2 and 1/2 cups sugar
5 cups milk
4 cups heavy cream
4 and 1/2 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp salt

No COOKING. Just eggs to beat and milk to measure. Ice cream to bring back memories of Sunday afternoons long ago.

Add sugar gradually to beaten eggs. Continue to beat until mixture is very still. Add remaining ingredients and mix thoroughly. Pour into gallon freezer and freeze as directed.
