Cream Pie

3/4 cup sugar
3 tbsp cornstarch
1/4 tsp salt
2 cups milk
3 slightly beaten egg yokes
2 tbsp butter
1 tsp Vanilla

Bring the sugar, salt, cornstarch and milk to boil over medium heat. Mix small amount with egg yokes and return to pan. Bring to a second boil. Remove and add butter and vanilla. Pour into crust and chill. Top with cream.
