Fried Mozzarella

1 pound mozzarella cheese, cut 1/2" thick x 2" long
1 quart buttermilk
1 cup flour
1 tbsp seasoning salt
1 quart seasoned bread crumbs (Italian style)

Whip together buttermilk, flour, seasoning salt. Dip cheese in batter; roll in crumbs packing it onto the cheese tightly. Chill one hour.

Fry in oil 30 seconds to 1 minute, until lightly browned but not long enough to melt the cheese. Drain to remove excess oil.

Serve with Marinara Sauce.
