Hearty Beef'n Cheese Crescent Pie

1 to 1 and 1/4 lb ground beef
1/3 cup chopped onion or 4 tsp instant minced onion)
1/4 cup chopped green pepper
8 oz can tomato sauce
8 and 1/2 oz great beans, sliced and drained
1/4 tsp cumin
1/4 tsp garlic salt
1/2 to 1/4 tsp salt
8 oz can Pillsbury quick Crescent dinner rolls
1 egg, slightly beaten
8 oz shredded montery jack or cheddar cheese
Paprika

Heat over to 375 degrees. In large skillet, brown ground beef, onion and green pepper; drain. Stir in tomato sauce, beans, cumin and garlic salt and salt. Simmer while preparing crust. Separate crescent dough into 8 triangles. Place triangles on ungreased 9 inch pie pan. Press over bottom and up sides to form crust. Combine egg and 1 cup cheese; spread on crust. Spoon hot meat mix onto crust. Sprinkle with remaining cheese and paprika. Bake at 375 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes. Let stand 5 minutes. Cut into wedges to serve. Makes five to six servings.
