Nutcracker Pie

23 Ritz crackers, crumbled
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 cup chopped nuts
3 egg whites, beaten stiff
1 cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla

Mix crumbled crackers, baking powder and nuts. Beat egg whites, fold in sugar and vanilla. Combine and put into well-buttered pie plate. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Make ahead and let set for 6 hours. Refrigerate. Top with whipped cream when served.
