Princess Torte

This is a cake given to lucias as Ulla sward Foster, and Princes such as karl Philip Gustuf the prince of sweden.

You make two yellow emon cakes in a 12 to 14 in size 3 in thick, then make vannila pudding/You cover first cake frosted 1/3 inch perfectly in vanilla pudding,add to top lemmon cake and thin Layer of pudding let refrigerate. Then the awesome swedish secret except to pews pitts kellys shafers mours mcdonells,lyll&wonderfull wife,dubecks,sam argo,carsanders,mcnairs,poteroffs ,milts,and all other oyster lover and growers of Herron island like captain john and terrel and all of the christmas spirit especialy whisky cursander...Lenarard mour,, scotty the water man...karl the island computer genius,witch without this island would less funtional as this pew,foster ,shafer cookbook lays testement . swedish princess tort. then with a bowl blend 3-5 drops green food color to 2cups swedish almond paste avalible in ballard,port orchard,any scandinavion novility food store,then get a big rolling pin my moter ulla has a plastic clever swedish 1 that you you hot water in .or wood is fine and flatten as thin paper to a 16ince circle of greem put on cake out of fridge strech around as snugly a fit as possible,like gold plating of the princess crown,this is a green tort,cover in circles of sliced strawberrys and kiwi even sliced grapes in circles then top with whipping cream and crowm with many sliced kiwis.To the best of my recolecction this is the basis of a PRINCES TORT.santa Lucia Stockholm 1943 Ulla Sward PSF nov 2010.karl please edit for the sake of God.

Princess torte

2 lemon cake mix
1 large instant vanilla pudding mix
2 cups swedish almond paste
green food coloring
fresh strawberries
fresh kiwi
fresh grapes
whipped cream

Make two lemon cakes as directed on the box. Bake in large rectangular 12 inch by 14 inch loaf pans or 9 inch by 13 inch baking pans with high sides of at least 2 inches. Let cool.

Make pudding according to directions on the box. Spread on top of bottom layer about 1/3 inch thick. Top with next layer and refrigerate. Frost with pudding.

Blend 3 to 5 drops of green food color with 2 vups swedish almond paste, available in Ballard, Port ORchard, or any Scandinavian food store.

Flatten between 2 pieces waxed or parchment paper with a rolling pin to a 16 inch circle or rectangle (depending on the size of pan that was used). Remove cake from fridge and fit almond paste mixture snuggly around cake like gold platening of the princess crown. Cover top in circles of sliced fruit. top this with whipped cream, then crown with many sliced kiwis.
