Red Cabbage

1 small red cabbage, finely shredded
1 onion, thinly sliced
4 cloves
1 apple, cored and sliced
1/4 cup red wine vinegar
1/4 cup brown sugar

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Place the cabbage, onion, cloves,apple, red wine vinegar, and brown sugar in a casserole dish and season to taste.
Cover and bake for 1 hour.

Yields: 4 servings
