Strawberry Wine Punch

1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup water
1 bottle (4/5 qt) rose wine
1 can orange juice
1 can lemonade (pink)
2 and 1/2 cups cold water
1/2 pint gin
1 package strawberry halves
1 quart club soda

Boil sugar and water 5 min. Cool. Add the next five ingredients and chill well. Just before serving, add the strawberries and club soda.

Makes 20 (4 oz) servings.
