Super Easy Tasty Meatloaf

1 and 1/2 pounds 80/20 ground beef
1 envelop Lipton's Onion Soup mix
Salt
Pepper
2-3 tablespoons of common flour
1 Pound potatoes (optional)

Take 1 packet of Lipton's Onion Soup Mix, salt & pepper and mix (shake) it in a jar with 12-16 oz. of hot water. Let onions settle and spoon them out into a 2 quart pan/dutch over with the ground beef (that's the secret!). Add a little soup liquid to the meat and mix thoroughly (maybe a little more salt & pepper) and form a loaf. If you add too much soup liquid it may fall apart. Place loaf in pan and pour the remaining soup liquid over it. Cover and simmer ON TOP of the stove for approximately 45 minutes with or without optional potatoes. Remove loaf and potatoes from pan. Take the same jar from the onion mix and add 4 to 5 oz. of water and flour and SHAKE to mix & remove lumps. Bring remaining soup in pan to a rolling boil and add flour and water to thicken and make gravy. Slice meatloaf and cover with gravy (potatoes too). Enjoy! Meatloaf leftovers make wonderful sandwiches on sourdough garlic bread.
